FreeCell is unique among solitaires: every card is face up from the very first moment, so almost every deal is solvable with the right strategy. The 52 cards are dealt into 8 columns (4 with 7 cards, 4 with 6).
At the top you'll find 4 free cells to temporarily park a card and 4 foundations to build suit sequences. The more free cells and empty columns you have, the more cards you can move together at once between tableau columns.
