PDF Summary with AI

Upload a contract or long document, get a structured summary in seconds. Key points, obligations and deadlines highlighted automatically.

🔒 Your file never leaves the browser. Text is extracted locally with PDF.js; only the extracted text (not the PDF) is sent to generate the summary, and it isn't stored anywhere.

Summary

How it works

The tool extracts text from the PDF directly in your browser, without ever sending the file to a server. Only the extracted text is analyzed by an AI model to generate a structured summary, designed for contracts, reports and long documents that would normally take minutes to read.

1Upload the PDF by dragging it into the drop area or selecting it from your device.
2Choose the length of the summary: short for a quick overview, medium for more detail.
3Generate the summary: in seconds you get key points, and for contracts also clauses, obligations and deadlines highlighted separately.

Frequently asked questions

Is the PDF uploaded to a server?
No. Text is extracted directly in the browser via PDF.js: the PDF file never leaves your device. Only the extracted text (not the file) is sent to generate the summary, and it isn't stored anywhere once the request is complete.
Does it work with scanned PDFs?
Only if the PDF already contains selectable text. For scanned documents (images), run OCR first with Extract PDF Text, then summarize the resulting text.
How long can the document be?
The service handles documents up to about 200 pages of text. For longer contracts and documents, excess text is truncated and the tool flags it.
Does the summary highlight contract clauses and deadlines?
Yes. When the uploaded document is a contract or legal text, the summary separately highlights important clauses, obligations and deadlines, alongside the general key points.
Is the service free?
Yes, it's free to use with a daily per-user limit on summaries, in place to keep the service stable for everyone.
